The
computer applications / technology minor at Virginia Intermont
is designed to provide managerial
skills combined with Internet technology knowledge and expertise
for todays fast paced, technologically driven world. The
intent of the computer applications/technology minor is to give
a broad and comprehensive foundation in the many aspects of information
technology.
The computer applications/technology minor at VI is supported
by several computer labs that have recently been renovated and
upgraded to offer state-of-the-art technology. The primary lab
for the minor is the PC Lab, a Windows-based microcomputer installation
equipped with 18 systems, printers and a projection system for
teaching.
