Frequently Asked Questions

With a teaching degree in physical education, would I be able to teach in any states other than Virginia?
Virginia has interstate agreement contracts with 38 other states. The licensed Virginia teacher must apply for licensure in other states and will be granted an initial license. In rare instances, a specific course may be required but time will be allowed for meeting the requirement.
