Degree Requirements

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology provides a variety of course offerings suitable for students wishing to enter industry, teaching, graduate studies and/or research. It also meets the minimum academic requirements for application to most schools of medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine where completion of course work in a science area provides a sound background for further study. Students should consult the catalog of their intended school for specific prerequisite courses and consult with their advisers early in their academic careers to plan for the inclusion of these courses to meet the specific requirements.
