to pursue a career in medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmaceuticals,
research, physical therapy, teacher education, or traditional
biology, Virginia Intermont's liberal arts-based biology or medical
technology Bachelor's degree is precisely what you need to get
started. Flexibility within the program will allow you to earn
a degree while meeting the requirements of your chosen graduate
or professional school. In addition, students have access to all
of the college's lab equipment and participate in many field excursions.
Concentrations in general biology, pre-medicine, preveterinary
medicine and environmental science are available. A chemistry
minor is also offered, as is an associate degree in allied health.
