Q. How many credit hours have to be completed before I can transfer to Virginia Intermont?
A. Transfer students can transfer any number of credit hours.

Q. Do I have to send each transcript from every institution I attended?
A. Yes. Virginia Intermont College must receive an individual transcript from each accredited institution.

Q. Can I receive academic scholarships if I attend VI?
A. Yes. Transfer students that transfer a 3.0 GPA or better will be eligible for a transfer scholarship.

Q. Can I take classes at a local community college while attending Intermont?

A. Yes, but all students must receive permission from the Registrar’s Office to make sure the credit hours will transfer back to Virginia Intermont.

Q. What classes would you suggest I could take at my local community college that would most easily transfer to Virginia Intermont College?
