Make
a Gift
Intermont, founded by visionaries, must continue
to be an institution of creativity and progress. Now is the time
for everyone who believes in the mission of this college, who
believes in the past but most especially its future, to step forward
in helping Virginia Intermont secure its future.
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund includes all gifts from alumni, parents and friends
of the College. The Fund helps students benefit from an Intermont
education through scholarship opportunities, maintains the Colleges
faculty and staff salaries and takes care of facilities and operating
expenses. Every giftregardless of sizegoes directly
to support the life and mission of the College.
You can make a pledge to the Annual Fund and pay toward that pledge
in a manner that best suits you. You may choose monthly or quarterly
payments or even pay by credit card. Intermont will be happy to
work with you in setting up a pledge.
Torchbearers
The Torchbearer Guild is a gracious group of alumni donors who
have committed to giving $1,000 per year to the Annual Fund for
a minimum of five years.
Friends of Intermont
A companion group to our Torchbearer Guild is Friends of Intermont.
Like the Torchbearers, these generous donors are leading the community
in support of the Colleges annual fund by giving $1,000
per year for the five-year period.
1884 Society
The purpose of the 1884 Society is to help secure the future of
Virginia Intermont College by providing special gifts through
estate planning. Alumni and friends of VIC are invited to join
The 1884 Society by choosing the College as one of their beneficiaries
through estate planning. Intermont can be remembered in a will,
can be named as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or be
included in a trust. Through this support, Virginia Intermont
will continue to be a special place of individual
attention and personalized instruction.
