VIC has always had a very strong commitment to the community. Intermont encourages faculty, staff, and students to volunteer for community service. The college coordinates campus service programs to increase student involvement in the region. Additionally several faculty members have initiated service-learning opportunities to provide meaningful volunteer experience in their disciplines.
